• Sacramental Programme

  Fri 30 Apr 2021

  The final Sacramental Programme meeting will take place on Monday 17^th May. This will finish at 4:15pm.

   

  We are in the process of deciding another date for Year 3’s Reconciliation. We are sorry to postpone this but we hope you understand how difficult it is to organise and finalise arrangements in the current climate. We are doing all we can to make sure that the Sacramental Programme continues to go ahead safely. This is also true of Holy Communion. We will reassess nearer the time as to whether this can go ahead. There will continue to be posts on the class Seesaw page keeping you up to date.

• Earrings

  If children are unable to take out or put their own earrings back in, we kindly ask that they do not wear them for school.

• Sports Day

  On Monday, it will be Sports Day! All children will need their PE kits on Monday and Nursery children can come in trainers to take part in the activities. Unfortunately, due to the current COVID regulations, parents will not be able to watch. However, pictures will be posted on the schools Facebook page.

• Parking

  Please can parents avoid parking on Blackburn College car park at drop off and pick up times.

• No After School Club

  NO AFTER SCHOOL CLUB ON THURSDAY 22^ND APRIL DUE TO STAFF TRAINING.

• PE Lessons

  Children are allowed to wear trainers for outdoor PE only. Black pumps are still required for indoor PE.

   

  If children are wearing earrings on PE days and cannot take them out themselves, please take the earrings out at home. If you are unsure when your child’s PE sessions are, please check with your child’s teacher. 

• Year 5 Swimming

  Year 5 are starting their school swimming lessons on Tuesday April 20^th.

   

  Every Tuesday, your child will need:

   

  Girls

  -Full swimming costume (No bikinis)

  -Swimming hat- only if your child’s hair/fringe will go in their eyes whilst swimming

  -Towel

   

  Boys

  -Swimming trunks or swimming shorts (must be above the knee)

  -Swimming hat – only if your child’s hair/fringe will go in their eyes whilst swimming

  -Towel
