  • SATs Week

    Fri 05 May 2017

MONDAY 8th MAY to THURSDAY 11th MAY

Year 6 SATs will take place next week from the 8th to the 11th May. School will provide all the equipment, pens, pencils etc. It is very important that children are on time to school and do not have any appointments.

Here are some useful tips for successful SATs:

    • Go to bed early

    • Be positive

    • Eat well and have a good, balanced breakfast

    • Chill out and relax

SATs are important as secondary schools now ‘set’ children on these results so we want you to do well. Year 2 will be starting their exams the week after.

  • Breakfast Club During SATs

    Fri 05 May 2017

During SATs week, we would like to invite children from Year 6 to attend breakfast club for free. We believe that this will help prevent children from being late to school during such an important time.

If any children in Year 6 have siblings that wish to attend breakfast club, there will be a small charge of £1 per day.

  • Uniform

    Fri 05 May 2017

This is just a reminder about footwear, black school shoes are the only shoes allowed. If your child needs to wear trainers on occasion for any reason, please can parents make the class teacher aware by sending in a note to the class teacher?

Jewellery is only allowed in school if it is a watch or 1 pair of plain stud earrings. Children are not allowed to wear necklaces or bracelets.
