PE Days
In Year 6, our PE days are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Full PE kits is required for children to participate in PE sessions.
Homework expectations
Homework in Year 6 is the same as any other year group until the Spring term. The expectations are:
- Six minutes per evening on Times Tables Rock Stars during the week.
- Spellings to be collected on a Monday evening ready for an assessment on Friday.
- A minimum of three reads per week for at least 15 minutes.
To be ready for SATS Year 6 have a change their homework. All of the above are expected plus:
- A CGP reading activity
- A CGP reasoning activity
These will be given out on a Monday and will be expected to be back in class for Friday ready for a revision session on Friday afternoons.

Over the course of the year, we will have many opportunities to discuss your child's progress towards their end of Key Stage expectations. Should you wish to discuss anything with regards to transition to high school please feel free to contact the school office and Miss Lee will contact you as soon as possible.
