Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Department for Education have issued all schools with CO2 monitors to place in classrooms. These monitors are used to quickly identify where ventilation needs to be improved by highlighting any build-up of CO2 in indoor areas. These monitors indicate when windows need to be opened in order to circulate fresh air and prevent the spread of COVID-19. When children are finding that their classroom is cold, they can wear their coat.
