Worship and Liturgy
Collective Worship
Our school offers a variety of prayer and liturgical experiences, including classroom prayer, meditation, assemblies, special services during significant times of the year, and celebrations of Mass, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We draw on a wide range of resources to help us plan and lead collective worship. The themes we follow are aligned with the liturgical calendar.
Our week starts with a member of staff leading Monday's liturgy, with different staff members taking turns each week. Each class also plans and delivers a pupil-led worship once a week, with different groups of children in each year group preparing and delivering a worship around school in one of our shared spaces. We have sung worship every Thursday, where the whole school gathers together to sing carefully chosen hymns. We conclude the week by celebrating the God-given talents of our children.
